Industry Insights Campaign Wins the Bronze Award for the new “Pandemic Response” Category
Washington, D.C. (September 23, 2020) — Government Executive Media Group’s (GEMG) Industry Insights integrated program was presented with the Bronze Award for “Pandemic Response – Coronavirus Campaign” by the Summit Creative Awards. Industry Insights is an integrated campaign consisting of written native article content, targeted digital promotion, and the creation of a custom podcast series, developed for government leaders, by industry leaders. It is produced by GEMG’s in-house marketing agency, Studio 2G, and presented by Carahsoft and two of its partners, Okta and Google Cloud. GEMG was recognized for its podcast and its accompanying supporting articles “Mission Critical: The Tech Powering Agencies Through a Pandemic” and “The Agency Working World After COVID-19: Adjusting to the New Normal.”
The Summit Creative Awards has celebrated the work of creative agencies throughout the world for 26 years. Because of the unique circumstances this year, the “Pandemic Response” category was introduced to highlight the stand-out work of organizations finding effective ways to address the market during the unfolding of the COVID-19 crisis.

The Bronze-winning program of Industry Insights focused on conversations with experts on how government agencies should understand and handle the challenges caused by the current pandemic. With a specific lens on the use of technology, guests such as Okta’s Kelsey Nelson and Todd Schroeder, Director of Public Sector Digital Strategy at Google, participated in the written and audio content to examine how government agencies can maintain a collaborative workplace and deliver the flow of significant information to the public sector throughout the course of the pandemic.
